Today, Dustin Hayes and I hosted Brandify's latest webinar, "Recovery Commerce and the Role of Local Search." We focused in the webinar on consumer search trends and how businesses can work toward a successful recovery with the help of local platforms.
The webinar highlighted three subject areas in particular:

-- Using local search platforms to communicate your reopening plans and health and safety procedures, with a focus on Yelp's recently published guidelines.
-- A study from Resonate, recently featured on Street Fight, indicating consumer desires and concerns as we move into a phase of recovery.
As part of our discussion on communicating with consumers via local search channels, we showcased a newly updated version of our Local Search Communication Matrix, a cheat sheet designed to guide businesses in making necessary changes across search platforms as they reopen.
In our updated version, we've added details on TripAdvisor and adjusted our recommendations based on features released in the last few weeks, in particular Yelp's new attributes for communicating health and safety measures.
