We’ve had an excellent two webinars so far as part of our four week-long series exploring Brandify and the Six Pillars of Multi-Location Optimization. During the week of August 25 we will continue with Part Three, where we’ll discuss the advantages of Local Advertising and how to manage your business’s online Reviews.

In Part Two’s webinar we discussed how to turn online traffic into foot traffic. One key method of achieving this is to tailor your advertising efforts to your local market. Blanket-style advertising is a thing of the past as multi-location businesses need to consider the geography and demographics of their audiences around each location. Modern consumers exist in niche audiences, and with mobile capabilities users want to know what’s happening in their immediate environment. Earlier this year Google released new research that further confirms the importance of local ads to in-store purchasing. An article by Forbes discussing this research states that:

“The study points up the importance of local ads to driving actual sales. Half of consumers, the study found, visit a store within a day of searching for local information on their smartphone. And some 18% of those searches led to a purchase within a day, far more than the 7% who purchase after a non-local search.”

In our next webinar we’ll be discussing how you can implement and make the most out of online ads for your business.

The second half of the webinar we’ll be looking at online reviews, and how your brand can engage with customers through reviews. Reviews can be utilized by businesses to interact with consumers and further authenticate their brand presence. In an increasingly mobile world consumers are more frequently looking to online reviews when considering making a purchase. A survey conducted by Dimensional Research in 2013 reported that a staggering 90% of consumers who read positive online reviews were influenced in their buying decisions, with 86% being the case for those who had read negative reviews. With stats like these, it’s important for businesses to pay attention to what’s being said on review sites like Yelp, Google, Facebook, and others. Where 2 Get It and Brandify can provide the tools for companies to monitor, and respond, to online reviews in order to engage consumers and authenticate their brand.

We’ll discuss these topics and more in Part Three of our webinar! You’ll have two chances to join the discussion as we’ll host on both Monday, August 25 and again on Wednesday, August 27, both at 11am PT! You can register to join by clicking here.
