Points to Remember 

  • In order to follow the advice above, you must claim and verify your listing on each site. Doing this gives you control over your listing.
    • To claim your Google listing, visit https://www.google.com/business.
    • To claim your Yelp listing, visit https://biz.yelp.com.
    • To claim your Facebook page, visit https://www.facebook.com/business/small-business.
    • To claim your Apple Maps listing, visit https://mapsconnect.apple.com.
    • To claim your Bing listing, visit https://www.bingplaces.com.
    • To claim your Foursquare listing, visit http://business.foursquare.com.
  • If Google marks your business closed in error, you can log in to Google My Business and reopen it.
  • You should only mark your business temporarily closed if you do not currently offer any services at that location.
  • If your business has 10 or more locations, some of these items should be handled differently. Feel free to contact us for more info.
  • Restaurants and hotels can make many of the same updates on TripAdvisor.
  • The neighborhood social site Nextdoor has a resource page to help businesses affected by COVID-19.
